Spazio Lava
visual identity - 2024
Spazio Lava is a multidisciplinary space dedicated to contemporary art, exhibitions, and live performances. The visual identity project began with the design of the logo, guided by two key principles: essentiality and immediate recognition. The custom lettering fuses the four characters into a unified, linear form, evoking both structure and openness—qualities that speak to the idea of space as both physical and conceptual.
The resulting mark is compact, legible, and highly adaptable. Its geometric simplicity allows it to function effectively across a wide range of applications, from small-scale digital icons to large-format posters and signage. This versatility ensures consistency while leaving room for expressive variations within the brand system.
Beyond the logo, the project expanded into the development of the website layout, optimized for both desktop and mobile use. The design emphasizes clarity and visual calm, with a clean interface that prioritizes imagery. This choice places the spotlight on the artworks and events, allowing the content to speak for itself within a neutral but refined framework.
Complementing the digital presence, I also designed a flexible layout system for printed and digital materials—posters, brochures, and social media assets. Each layout is modular, allowing for event-specific customization while maintaining a coherent visual language. This strategic approach facilitates fast and consistent production across formats, essential for the dynamic rhythm of a contemporary cultural space.
